The Horseman Press is a student-ran publishing press responsible for publishing Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s literary magazine Pegasus. Along with our annual publication of Pegasus, we also publish timeless novels written by Southern authors.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to publishing the creative works of those across rural America. We pride ourselves in publishing the astounding work of the faculty and student body of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College through our literary magazine Pegasus. We hope to shine a light on the artwork brought by those of the south.

Active Learning Experience
The transformative learning process at Horseman Press is designed to help our students learn the fundamentals of preparing materials for publication. Each day is filled with hands-on-experience in every stage of the production process. From reviewing submissions to copy editing to layout and proofreading to marketing and promotion, students of the Horseman press gain inmeasureable skills. Get to Know Our CEO Dr. Rachael Price
Dr. Price teaches the Publishing Process course. She oversees all aspects of production and has the final say in areas of dispute. Dr. Price guides the direction of the press as it grows and develops. She also directs the responsibility and productivity of all staff members and is an all-around swell gal.
